At Ballina Medical Centre we are committed to the highest standards of patient and staff safety during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We strongly advise that you continue to contact us with any new or worrying symptoms – we are available to assist you.
Please phone the practice to arrange a clinic appointment or phone consultation as appropriate.
Our administration staff have been trained in covid triage and may ask some initial screening questions.
If you are scheduled for a GP call back please keep your phone with you.
Prescription phone call requests are reviewed by our GP team, please give 48 hours’ notice to allow us to review your medicines and organise any follow up tests required.
Currently all GP services are under significant pressure, please be patient with our staff whilst we are dealing with much higher volumes of phone calls than usual.
The Medical Team are available for consultation by appointment
Please call 096 80600 to make a surgery appointment.
Our administration team are available from 9am- 12.00pm and 2pm to 5pm.
When booking an appointment, please let us know if you need a non-standard appointment, as these often require extra time.
Staying Safe

Arrival at Ballina Medical Centre:
If you have been advised to stay in the car park until our doctor / nurse is available to see you please call the practice from your car.
On arrival at the practice please wear a face mask, use the hand sanitiser in reception and respect social distancing.
Clear signage will direct you and our staff will assist you during your visit.
